Riding On The Metro

  The Shenzhen metro system finally opened the Shekou line which has a stop right across the street from our apartment. Today we decided to get on for the first time and see where it went, and it turns out the line ends at a huge shopping mall. Wanda was ecstatic but I could have cared less. Next time she can go with her girlfriends.

Breaking News- Wanda to Bali

  Wanda just booked her air tickets to Bali for the Chinese New Year holiday. She’ll spend the end of January and the start of February on the beach in this tropical Indonesian paradise. Only one thing will be missing- me. Wanda, my sister Patti, and seven other women are going, and I was invited as the token male but I said no, as I’d rather spend a lazy week here in Shekou.
